Name: DOC - Douro
Grape varieties: Gouveio; Viosinho; Rabigato with a component of Vinhas Velhas.
Production characteristics:
- Cima Corgo;
- Schist soil;
- 450m altitude;
- 90-year-old old vines + Vines planted in 2014
Vinification: After careful collection of the grapes in small boxes, they are carefully pressed, followed by decanting for 24 hours and prolonged fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.
Filtration: Cartridge + Membrane
Physical and chemical analysis: Alcohol - 13%; Total Acidity - 6.3 g/dm3; pH - 3.20
Tasting Notes:
Visual examination: Clear, greenish citrus color.
Olfactory examination: Fresh and citrusy. Notes of tropical fruit such as passion fruit and pineapple.
Taste test: Fresh and elegant. More complex side of the integration of old vines in the final blend. Good persistence and freshness.
