Description
Name: DOC - Douro
Grape varieties: VINHAS VELHAS with 24 grape varieties identified with OIV descriptors (Gouveio, Viosinho and Rabigato predominate).
Production characteristics:
- Cima Corgo;
- Schist soil;
- 480m altitude;
- 90 years.
Vinification: After careful collection of the grapes in small capacity boxes, they are carefully pressed in a pneumatic press; followed by decanting for 24 hours; fermentation begins in stainless steel vats followed by passage to temperature-controlled 500-liter barrels, where all the fermentation is gently carried out; periodic batonnage and continued aging in barrels until the end of April.

Physical and chemical analysis: Alcohol - 13.5%; Total Acidity - 5.8 g/dm3; pH - 3.26
