Grape varieties: 100% TOURIGA NACIONAL.
Production characteristics:
- Cima Corgo;
- Schist soil;
- 450m average altitude;
- Average age of vines: 50 years.
Vinification: After careful collection of the grapes in small capacity boxes, the grapes are completely destemmed; alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled treading mills, followed by spontaneous malo-lactic fermentation.
Internship: 12 months in new 225-liter François Fréres, Taransaud and Seguin Moreau barrels.
Filtration: Cartridge + Membrane
Physical and chemical analysis: Alcohol - 14.5%; Total Acidity - 5.8 g/dm3; pH - 3.74
Tasting Notes:
Visual examination: Clear, deep ruby red color
Olfactory examination: Very complex, with notes of black fruit, menthol, chocolate and a slight smokiness.
Taste test: Elegant, fresh, good volume and firm tannins with plenty of structure. Long, intense finish.
