Grape varieties: 100% TOURIGA FRANCA.
Production characteristics:
- Cima Corgo;
- Schist soil;
- 450m average altitude;
- Average vine age: 35 years.
Vinification: After careful collection of the grapes in small capacity boxes, the grapes are completely destemmed; alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled treading mills, followed by spontaneous malo-lactic fermentation partly in Hungarian oak barrels and partly in stainless steel.
Internship: 12 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels of 225 and 500 liters.
Filtration: Cartridge + Membrane
Physical and chemical analysis: Alcohol - 13%; Total Acidity - 5.5 g/dm3; pH - 3.65
Tasting Notes:
Visual examination: Clear, ruby red color.
Olfactory examination: Complex, with notes of raspberries, raisins and light toast.
Taste test: Elegant, fresh, with good volume and firm tannins. Long, intense finish.
