Name: DOC - Douro

Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Roriz;

Production characteristics:

  • Cima Corgo;
  • Schist soil;
  • 450m average altitude;
  • Average vine age: 15 years;

Vinification: After a careful harvest, the grapes are destemmed and crushed and then sent to our presses. The liquid resulting from the saignée method serves as the base for this wine. This is followed by fermentation without skin contact in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.

Internship: In stainless steel and then in a bottle

Filtration: Cartridge + Membrane

Physical and chemical analysis: Alcohol - 13%; Total Acidity - 6.6 g/dm3; pH - 3.20

Tasting Notes:

Visual examination: Clear, almost opaque petroleum color;

Olfactory examination: Fresh, with an aroma of strawberries and green plums.

Taste test: Pleasant, fresh and with a good persistence.
